When the education of their children at home, you have the freedom to teach the science of sound is presented from a Christian worldview. "Christian Children explore Earth and space" for students of primary, Bill is a good fit. This text is part of a series by Stephanie L. Redmond including biology, chemistry and physics. I enjoy teaching this text to a number of reasons, including: requiring little or no preparation time for teachers, it is nice to work through, being from a Christian perspective, is that God honors and is written in a conversational tone that is easy to read aloud and appeals to young audiences.
The text consists of 24 lessons, 2 on Earth in general (including construction) 5, which covers the lithosphere, hydrosphere 4, which covers 4 deals with the atmosphere, climate, covering 5 and 4, which covers the entire space. Maps, forms and coloring sheets are reproducible. An act of implementation has been chosen for each lesson. In addition, there is a schedule of revenue and additional activities, one on how to make a folderbook, and another that includes books and additional resources. We took the product to our local copy center and had cut the link. Then, we divide the reproducible sheets, and the spiral text with all the glossaries and appendices.
Overall, I found this course to be a good basic text for my students second, which was easily completed in some areas. I'll still use it with my younger children when they reach the second year. And although my second graders and finished the entire course, no doubt modified and expanded to be more in depth. An example of this is to find the nine planets in a chapter soon! I thought that this negligence was an opportunity to excite children about the outer space, We have extended this section with materials outside. There is no chapter on biomes of this, which I find surprising, since it is not so much intrigue children about the variety of habitats and temperature zones on this planet we live. Again, additional to study Earth with materials outside.
In some chapters seemed as if the bulk of the reading is about own experiences of the author, even if this contributes to the tone of "speaking to a small child." One of the main things that attracted my eye target = "_new" rel = "nofollow" href = "http://www.amazon.com/gp/search?ie=UTF8keywords=Christian 20kids%%%% 20Explorer 20Earth 20and% 20Space & tag = hgheeduc-20 & index = books & linkCode = UR2 and camp = 1789 & creative = 9325 "> Christian Kids Explore is lack of consistency between chapters. It is a curious mixture of technical definitions of conversation and jokes.
There is always find a course science that gives glory to God for it. The first lesson focused on the creation, but neglected "on the first day in the second day ... "So that a complete reading of Genesis. In lesson three, she goes on the theory of Pangea and flooding in the world, how some scientists and theologians have conflicting ideas. It comes in a sleek and elegant. Although the leaves are beautiful, have much space in black can be colored. In addition, a record for the entire unit does not allow anyone to work while Mom reads each chapter.
The benefits of this book for elementary students include many definitions in the margins and limits of scientific journals and discoveries scientists. One thing would have been useful has been a year "long list of copies to be made" if you do not have a copier at home for to each chapter. I This book is a good value, especially when combined with materials from the library instead of buying them.
